Are your viewing parties the same thing as a Wedding reception?

Not exactly! Instead of having a seated dinner with all the formalities of a traditional reception (like a first dance, cutting the cake, bouquet toss, and the like) we have opted for an event that allows us to spend extra time with our guests. Think of it like an extended cocktail hour. There will be food and fun, a room full of our favorite people, and a watch party for us to share our wedding video with you. This is our way of honoring everyone who has been part of our lives so far, and inviting you to be part of our circle as we join our lives together. See you there!

I don’t see much stuff on your registry - what’s up with that?

Monetary gifts are the most helpful to us as we start our lives together. Your financial gifts will help us as we plan for the future: buying and furnishing a home, establishing shared savings, and other pragmatic things (that are romantic to us!)

How can I give a monetary gift?

May I bring my children to the maryland viewing party?

Although we love your little ones, this event is for the grown-ups. We have capacity restrictions at the venue, and kindly request that you honor the number of seats listed on your invitation.

Where will your viewing parties be held?

Right now we plan on hosting parties in Maryland (where Amber’s family lives), California (where David’s family lives), and New York / New Jersey (where Amber and David met).

How should we dress for the viewing party?

Details for each local event will be provided when invitations are sent. For the Maryland viewing party, evening cocktail attire that you would wear to a wedding is appropriate.

Is an invitation required to attend a viewing party and can I bring a guest?

The Maryland viewing party will be by invitation only, because of venue capacity restrictions. Thank you for understanding that our guest list for this event will be limited.
